2023 Chicago Japan Film Collective
Hello, Chicago! The Chicago Japan Film Collective is back for the 2023 edition. We are thrilled to be the first and only Japanese Film Festival in the Midwest. This year, we have two theater showings and eight virtual screenings lined up for you, featuring a carefully selected collection of Japanese films, including the works of three debut filmmakers.
But that’s not all! We are ecstatic to announce the launch of our new program called “CJFC X.” Through this program, we are collaborating with film festivals in Japan to bring you their finest selection of films. It’s an exciting opportunity to broaden our horizons and showcase even more incredible Japanese cinema!
